Lost City entered for Reader's Favorite awards

The Princelings and the Lost City has been entered in the Readers' Favorite International Book Awards 2014, in the categories Book: Children's SciFi/Fantasy and Illustration: Fiction.

Lost City, the conclusion of the Trilogy, was awarded 5 Stars by the Readers' Favorite reviewer last autumn.  She said:
The Lost City, Book Three of The Princelings trilogy is a great read for those who love fantasy with young male protagonists. The plot is new, interesting, and will engage your mind in the story. A great work was created by the author with this trilogy. I enjoyed the well-developed characters and their many adventures. [...]

In all, this is a very nice piece of writing. The trilogy has been completed without leaving any loose ends. I would have to say that this has been an overall enchanting trip into a fantasy realm. It is suitable for readers from pre-teens to adults alike. It is a clean and wholesome series and readers will be happy owning these books. Happy readings.
The contest deadline is June1st (late entry).  Finalists will be announced on July 1st and winners on September 1st.

Princelings of the East (Book 1) is now FREE

We set the price for the ebook of The Princelings of the East, the start of the whole series, to FREE on Smashwords at the beginning of May.  The idea is to promote the whole series by enabling new discoverers to try a new author - and then not be able to stop at one book!

Smashwords 'sales' came in steadily, and went up once the book's details had been updated at places like B&N, iBooks and so on.

Then Amazon.com noticed, and 'sales' hit the roof!   As is usual in these matters, they have also dropped to a steady number, but we also had a sale in the Australian store last week, our first.  Amazon have not discounted the ebook anywhere other than the .com store, so if you're in Europe or anywhere else, try using the Smashwords store.

So we are proposing to leave the book out FREE for the time being.

You can find the links to the Princelings of the East at your favourite store here.

If you check the Princelings website, you'll find some special offers on other books that were listed during Children's Book Week - these will expire at the end of May.

Bravo Victor on Amazon

Jemima Pett's new book Bravo Victor, is now being published on Amazon. It should appear on all Amazon sites within 48 hours.

In the sixth book of the series, Victor Barton, of the Inn of the Seventh Happiness and would-be business guru, uncovers what appears to be a plot to bring Wozna cola back into the Realms.  At the same time George disappears while on a visit to a flying festival in the Rhinelands.  Secret agent Sundance is already on the trail of some Wozna smugglers, so King Fred sends Victor off with Sundance to see if he can solve the problem and find George at the same time.

Victor finds himself mired in a tangled web of lies, deceit and treachery, compounded by the appearance of a shady character from his past - or is it his future?

Bravo Victor is suitable for teens and adults, and contains a handy chronology of key events in the series to assist new readers in settling into the timeline.

Genre: adult science fiction or juvenile mystery, it's a mashup of feudal systems with advanced technology, invention, flying, business speak, time travel and the endearing characters we've come to love over the previous books.
